- Scan computer for codes and/or data. Record codes & complete a basic inspection of related components as needed. Includes basic pin-point testing or testing with other equipment. Codes: B0090, U1016, B1420, B1000. Clear codes where applicable. Misfiring on cylinder #8 and #7 – Found wires to number 8 injector damaged. Repaired wires. Still missing on #8. Found failed fuel injector due to debris in fuel rails. Left fuel rail was leaking. Replaced both fuel rails, all injector seals, and injector #8. Cleared codes. Test drove vehicle. No misfires at this time. One code for air bag deactivation switch came back on. Needs new switch.
